Instead of short cropped grass, my nieghbor's backyard has these little plants covering the ground. I don't know what it is called (it's probably some type of weed), but I think they look sweet.
I think it is called a "creeping violet" they make great ground coverage but they can become invasive and take over the entire garden if you are not careful.
I have forgotten to look at your blog...I am going to put it into our favorites. That way Dave will look at and maybe the 4 dings...
