Gathering

Mara asked me on Sunday if I would help her pick some flowers for her mommy. I agreed, and we went on a flower hunting expedition in my parent's backyard. We did find some lovely flowers (I'm not sure what they are called) located a few feet in to the forest that comes up to the backyard. Mara was too scared to walk in the somewhat muddy dirt, so she cheered me on from the safety of the fence.

Mara, happy in her success. We came in and gave the flowers to Aili. She loved them.

Those are called suprise lilies. They look like daffodial stems and you think they will be daffodials and then suprise, a lily!

Sally told me that this weekend.
